v1.0.0 See What Your Client Sees

Improvements

  • The portal editor puts the client view first. It shows your client's real dashboard and
  • Settings sit in 3 tabs: Features, Details and Look. Features show their main settings up
  • Moving a portal to a group or to another client lives in the editor's menu, away from
  • Long custom field lists get a search box and show the selected fields first.
  • The client password screen sits on a card, with a full-size button that no longer looks

Fixes

  • Opening a portal no longer shows unsaved changes or clears a metric's field before you
  • The group template editor no longer reports unsaved changes on open.
  • The note and links cards in the preview show what you type, not sample text.
v0.15.0 Clearer Portal Setup

Improvements

  • Portal creation and editing share a simpler setup flow, with clear feature settings,
  • Portal editors track the current section on desktop and mobile, with localized dates
  • Production and staging deployments require browser E2E, lint, typecheck and build checks.

Fixes

  • Feature settings render through Svelte snippets correctly during server rendering.
  • Saving retains edits made while a request is in flight.
  • Digest loading and other affected effects avoid repeated network requests.
  • Development errors stay out of production Sentry reporting.
v0.14.5 A Cleaner Weekly Report

Improvements

  • A cleaner weekly report - The scheduled email your clients get now opens with your agency's logo and a short note, then shows what's waiting on them, one clear progress bar and a chart of hours per week, all in one calm, consistent type style.

Fixes

  • Missing pages answer properly - A link to a page that doesn't exist now shows a "not found" page instead of sending visitors to the sign-in screen.
v0.14.3 Clear ClickUp Status

Improvements

  • Your logo in your clients' inboxes - Emails from Client Glance now show the Client Glance logo next to the sender in Yahoo, AOL, Fastmail and other inboxes that support it.

Fixes

  • A clear message when ClickUp has trouble - When ClickUp stops responding, your dashboard, settings and client list now say so and suggest trying again in a few minutes, and when access to ClickUp is lost they ask you to reconnect, instead of showing nothing.
v0.14.2 One Clicky Button

Improvements

  • One consistent button on pricing and subscribe - Every plan and checkout button now shares the same look and press, so picking a plan reads the same everywhere.
v0.14.1 The Portal in Your Client's Language

Improvements

  • The portal speaks your client's language everywhere - Every message the portal can show, from a refused upload to an unavailable portal, now reads in the language you set for that client instead of falling back to English.
  • Documents are easier to move through - The page list of a document now separates its sections, and each page opens under its own title, so a long document reads as a document rather than one flat list.

Fixes

  • A new request shows up straight away - Your client had to refresh the portal to see the request they had just sent.
  • Task statuses read in your client's language - A task's status showed its ClickUp name in English on the task panel.
v0.14.0 Reduced Motion and ClickUp Resilience

Features

  • Videos play inside the portal - A video attached to a ClickUp Doc now plays where it sits, instead of asking your client to download it first.

    Project Overview

This document outlines the scope, deliverables, and timeline for your project.

    Key Deliverables

    • Website Design & Development
    • Mobile App Integration
    • Content Management System

    Timeline

    Project duration: 12 weeks

Improvements

  • Motion now follows your system setting - Switching on "reduce motion" on your device stills every animation across the app and your portals, while loading spinners keep turning so you can still tell that work is in progress.
  • A client's chat channel is ready the moment their portal is - The channel used to be created on your client's first visit to Messages; it is now created when you save the portal, so it is in ClickUp straight away.
    Client portal

  • Document edits appear within a minute - Editing a ClickUp Doc could take up to five minutes to show on the portal, which read as the edit not having saved.

Fixes

  • The app keeps working when ClickUp cannot list your workspaces - Your dashboard, client list, settings and the portal wizard all failed together during a ClickUp outage; they now fall back to the workspaces you already use.
  • Message threads open again - Opening a thread, or posting a reply to one, failed on every portal.
  • Dates no longer read "January 1, 1970" - Some dates in the portal showed 1970 in place of the real date.
v0.13.0 Client File Exchange

Features

  • Files - Share files with your client in a Google Drive folder attached to their portal, and let them send theirs back. Downloads run through the portal, so your client never needs a Google account.
  • Choose where portal folders are created - Pick any folder in your Drive, including one in a Shared Drive, and new portal folders are created inside it.

Improvements

  • Clearer messages when a file cannot be added - Size, count and file type limits now read in your client's own language, and are checked before the upload starts rather than after it finishes.

Fixes

  • Time settings while creating a portal now match the editor - Top Tasks and timesheet grouping were previously only available once the portal already existed.
  • Status and field pickers now see lists inside subfolders - Picking a folder whose lists sit in subfolders offered nothing to choose from.
  • Disconnecting Google now clears the saved folder - Reconnecting with a different Google account left a folder saved that the new account could not open.
  • The timesheet breakdown updates when you change what it groups by - Switching the grouped-by field kept showing the previous field's numbers.
v0.12.2 Book a Demo

Features

  • Book a demo from the home page - The second button on the home page now opens a booking page for a call, in place of jumping to the how-it-works section. Setup on that call is free: we connect ClickUp and build your first portal with you. Available in English, French, and Spanish.

Fixes

  • The example portal shows recent activity again - The demo portal was built against fixed dates, so once those dates aged past the portal's last-4-weeks window, its time cards showed nothing. The example now always reads as current work.
v0.12.0 Programmatic SEO

Features

  • Six new guides on the blog - Covering ClickUp client portal templates, guest access compared to a client portal, client portals for marketing agencies, agency client reporting, structuring ClickUp for an agency, and what the free client portal options really cost you. Each is written in English, French, and Spanish, with its own illustration and a questions section search engines can read.

Improvements

  • Every page is now open to search engines - Your portals, the app, and the sign-in pages were all previously hidden from search results, and that block has been lifted across the site. Worth knowing: portal addresses can now turn up in search results. The password on each portal still controls who sees what is inside it.
v0.11.6 Restart Your Plan

Fixes

  • Restarting a paused plan works again - The Reactivate button failed every time with "Failed to start reactivation checkout". Restarting a plan now takes you straight to checkout at the right price.
  • Yearly Starter is priced correctly - The annual Starter option was still charging an amount set when Starter cost less per month. It now matches the price shown on the pricing page.
  • Sign-in codes last 15 minutes - Codes expired after 5 minutes, which was not long enough when a company mail server holds messages for review before delivering them. Codes now stay valid for 15 minutes.
  • Review notification emails are being sent again - The daily and weekly summaries of items waiting on your client were never actually going out.
v0.11.4 Reactivation Safety

Fixes

  • Restarting a plan can no longer charge you twice - After paying to reactivate, the billing page showed the old "subscription inactive" notice until the payment finished registering, which read as a failed payment. It now confirms the payment on its own, tells you when the plan is active, and refuses to open a second checkout for an account that is already paid.
v0.11.2 Marketing Site Reachable

Fixes

  • Signing in from the home page works again - Opening clientglance.com while signed out sent you straight to the login screen instead of the site, in every language. The site now opens normally and you can sign in from it.
v0.11.0 Signup Restructure

Features

  • A real sign-up page - Creating an account now happens on its own page, separate from logging in. You give your name, your company and your email once, and your account and workspace are both ready by the time you enter your code.
  • Your workspace address is picked for you - The subdomain is derived from your company name instead of being one more thing to decide during sign-up. You can still change it later in settings.

Improvements

  • See a finished portal before connecting ClickUp - A new account now lands on the dashboard with a link to a live example portal, so you can see what you are building before you connect your workspace.

Fixes

  • New accounts are no longer locked out of the app - Signing up put you behind a "Connect your ClickUp" wall that was only ever meant for agency clients being handed an existing account. Every self-serve sign-up hit it and could see nothing until they granted access. New accounts now reach the dashboard straight away.
  • Sign-up and portal creation are now measured - Both events were defined but never sent, so drop-off during sign-up was invisible in analytics.
v0.10.3 Reactivation & Org-Scoped Billing

Fixes

  • Reactivate your plan - The "Reactivate" button on the billing page now opens a secure Stripe checkout to restart a canceled plan instead of returning you to the home page, and it keeps your existing billing details so no duplicate account is created.
  • Client billing for agencies - When an agency manages a client's account, reactivate, manage, subscribe, and upgrade now all apply to that client, so every billing action lands on the right account.
v0.10.2 Reconnect Accuracy

Fixes

  • Reconnect prompts - The dashboard no longer shows a false "Reconnect needed" warning on portals whose time tracking is actually working.
v0.10.0 Portal Groups

Features

  • Portal groups - Templates and groups are now one concept: the group. Every portal belongs to a group, and each group carries shared settings (cards, statuses, theme, language) that update its portals live. A new default "General" group holds portals that are not in a named group, so the portal list is organized end to end.
  • Move portals between groups - A new "Move to group" action relocates a portal and shows exactly which settings will change before you confirm. Fields you customized on the portal stay yours after the move.
  • Safer group editing - Editing a group's settings now warns you how many portals update immediately, with a per-section preview of what changes. Deleting a group moves its portals to General without altering how they look to clients.
  • Public signup page - A dedicated /signup page joins the login flow for new accounts.

Improvements

  • Groups everywhere - The dashboard shows every portal under its group, group settings live in one editor, and the whole flow is available in English, French, and Spanish.
  • Login code deliverability - Sign-in code emails now include a plain-text version and the login screen nudges you to check spam and use your Google address when relevant, so codes arrive and get found more reliably.
v0.9.10 Localized Reports & Digests

Improvements

  • Reports and emails in the portal's language - Scheduled digest emails and the downloadable time-report PDF now read fully in each portal's language, and numbers and dates (thousands separators, month names) follow it too, so a French or Spanish portal is localized end to end.
v0.9.9 Multilingual Site

Features

  • A fully localized site - The marketing site, blog, and help center now have their own French and Spanish addresses (/fr, /es), each fully translated, so visitors read everything in their language. The feature, integration, industry, and partner pages are translated into French and Spanish too.

Improvements

  • Found in every language - Search engines now see each page's French and Spanish versions as separate, indexable addresses, with hreflang tags, clean canonical links, and per-language sitemap entries.
v0.9.8 Pro Trial for Everyone

Improvements

  • 14-day Pro trial for everyone - New accounts now start on a 14-day Pro trial with full access, replacing the limited free plan.
v0.9.7 Spanish Localization

Features

  • Spanish (Español) - The full app, client portals, marketing site, blog, and help center are now available in Spanish, alongside English and French. Set it per organization and per client portal.

Improvements

  • Single source for languages - Every language now lives in one registry, so adding or removing a language is one change and the type checker flags anything left untranslated.

Fixes

  • Self-serve signup - Fixed a case where creating an organization during onboarding could fail and leave the new account unlinked from its workspace.
v0.9.6 Smart Requests

Features

  • Smart request titles - Clients now just describe what they need and a clear, tidy title is written for them automatically, so every request reads well in the inbox.
  • Completed requests - The requests inbox can now tuck finished items into a collapsible Completed section, keeping the active list focused.

Improvements

  • Custom fields on requests - A request's custom fields now appear on its detail view, so there is fuller context at a glance.

Fixes

  • Password status in the editor - The portal editor now correctly shows whether a portal is password protected.
v0.9.5 Review Notifications

Improvements

  • Clearer request details - A request's status, due date, assignee, and description now sit together in one panel, so what each request is about reads at a glance.

Fixes

  • Review notifications send again - The email that goes out when an item is ready for review now sends reliably.
  • Mentions read cleanly - People mentioned in a request's description now show as names instead of raw formatting.
v0.9.4 Comment Visibility

Fixes

  • Comment visibility settings apply everywhere - When you hide client comments or @mentions on a portal, that choice now takes effect in the request detail and reply views too, not just the main list.
v0.9.3 Review Fixes

Improvements

  • Fully translated portals - The remaining hardcoded card labels now follow the portal's language, so a French portal reads entirely in French.

Fixes

  • Client Review is back - Tasks in your "needs client" statuses show again in the Requests view; the count badge and the list now agree.
  • Review emails send - Moving a task into a client-review status emails the client again. Re-save the portal once to reconnect it.
v0.9.2 Time Card Refinements

Improvements

  • Top tasks is opt-in - Turn the Top Tasks card on per portal from the time settings; it stays off by default.

Fixes

  • Cleaner client view - The "open in ClickUp" shortcuts on time reports now show only to your team, never to clients.
v0.9.0 Time by Activity

Features

  • Top tasks - A new card ranks the tasks with the most time logged this period.

Improvements

  • Time by activity, in color - The time-by-activity breakdown shows each category in its own color, with a neutral dot for anything uncategorized.
  • Group time by a custom field - Grouping tracked time by a ClickUp dropdown field now works on team dashboards that span a whole space, not just single lists.
  • Jump to ClickUp - Hover a project or task row in a time report to open it directly in ClickUp.
  • Sharper at-a-glance summaries - The AI summary now reflects where time actually went, by activity and top tasks.
  • Refined settings controls - Portal configuration dropdowns are redesigned to match the rest of the app.

Fixes

  • Status options on team dashboards - Status and custom-field lists now load when a portal aggregates time across a whole space.
v0.8.0 Time Breakdowns

Features

  • Time by status - A new card on the Projects tab breaks tracked time down by task status, or by a custom field you choose, and expands to show who logged each.
v0.7.4 Team Timesheet

Improvements

  • Team timesheet - Each member's time now shows as one clean bar that splits into a per-client breakdown when expanded, with neatly aligned columns; teammates who logged no time this period are grouped on their own.
v0.7.2 Requests & Notifications

Features

  • Task filters - Choose exactly which tasks a portal card shows, by status, type, custom field, or date.
  • Review notifications - Pick how clients hear about items waiting on them: off, the moment a task moves, or a daily or weekly summary.
  • Welcome step - New users get a short welcome screen, and anyone can update their own name from settings.

Improvements

  • Requests - Client review and requests are now one unified card, with clearer Open, Needs you, and Closed groups.
  • Status breakdown - Scope the status breakdown to specific tasks using the same filters as other cards.

Fixes

  • Portal settings - Changing a portal's language or other settings now saves correctly when client review email notifications are on.
v0.7.0 Self-Serve Signup

Features

  • Self-serve signup - Agencies can create an account and start a 14-day Pro trial in minutes, no invite or card required.
  • Package and retainer budgets - Show clients how much of their monthly or prepaid hour budget is used, with a clear at-a-glance indicator.
  • Portal templates - Group many client portals under one shared template and manage their layout and branding together.

Improvements

  • Timesheet - Reworked time tracking with controls over which team members a client can see.
  • Time view - The investment trend and weekly breakdown now move together, and the view fills the screen instead of leaving an empty gap below.
  • Smoother period switching on the Time view with an inline loading indicator.

Fixes

  • Team time - Internal dashboards now include hours logged by every team member, not just the connected account.
v0.6.6 Platform Refresh

Improvements

  • Platform refresh - Updated the app's underlying libraries for speed and stability.
v0.6.4 Digest & Reports

Improvements

  • Digest for internal dashboards - The AI summary on an internal team time dashboard now reads as an internal team update rather than a client-facing note, and heads the Time view.
  • Report recipients from your team - When scheduling a report, pick recipients from your existing team members instead of retyping their addresses; external addresses still work, up to five in total.

Fixes

  • Portal chat - A wide image shared in a message no longer stretches the conversation past the edge of a narrow portal.
v0.6.2 Analytics Cleanup
v0.6.0 AI Digest & Custom Domains

Features

  • AI Digest - An AI-generated "situation at a glance" summary at the top of the client portal dashboard. Google Gemini turns each portal's progress, hours, deliverables, and invoices into a short plain-language status update, cached per portal and refreshed on demand. Enable it per portal from the indicators step; available on the Pro plan and above.
    Client portal
  • Custom domains & white-label (early access) - Serve portals on your own domain, with a white-label toggle and grouped portal indicator settings. Rolling out gradually.
v0.5.0 Time Insights & Integrations

  • Faster portals - Portal data loads quicker through smarter caching and concurrent loading, and views show a fitted skeleton while they load.
  • Resilient configuration - Portal status and field settings now bind by name, so they keep working when a ClickUp list changes, and any unresolved settings are surfaced on the dashboard and edit page.
  • Reconnect prompts - When a ClickUp or Everhour connection is revoked, the app detects it and prompts you to reconnect instead of failing quietly.
  • Mobile header - The portal header now lays out cleanly on small screens.
  • Admin conveniences - Portal passwords can be revealed and copied from the dashboard, and admin-only links to upstream tools are framed with a private notice.

Fixes

  • Attachments - Attachments open inline with an explicit download option.
